Physical Science
Course Description
This class is geared for the early high school student – usually 9th or 10th grade. It includes an introduction to the physical sciences (chemistry and physics), the scientific method and the metric system. This class is necessary for preparation for upper-level laboratory courses and will help students develop an organized approach to problem solving.
Suggested Student Background
This class/book is designed for the early high school student who has a very solid junior high math background. Algebra I is a co-requisite for this course. Students must be able to read at or above a 9th grade level. Students must be able to do internet research and know how to use email. Internet access is required.
